Visited this pub last night (thursday) they had a guy playing music from the 60's 70's 80's not to loud just nice backround made a nice change. seemed busy serving food so it must have improved

Good local boozer
This is a reliable local boozer with lovely staff and a decent range of drinks. The venue is always really clean and tidy, without seeming sterile, and the toilets are well maintained, unlike lots of places. Good smoking zone too....
