I moved here because the transport links suited the job I had at the time. That's what defines Hedge End these days, two motorway junctions, reasonable bus services and a decent train service to London. I'd prefer it was still a strawberry growing village, but the developers have destroyed that forever....
It has been over-developed. Driving through Grange Park is soul-destroying. The properties and the way they are laid out have none of the character of the original village.
