Why I don't like Hedge End

I used to like Hedge End because like the neighboring Bursledon it really was at one time a pleasant and rural village, sadly over the years the heart has been taken out and the identity of the village has been lost , mainly due to the massive overbuilding programmes that have taken place , there appears to be no real concern for the infrastructure in these building programmes and no thought has been given to the aesthetics of the whole area , I realise that there is an enormous need for housing but i feel much of this has been created because of the immigration policies by this and previous government actions , In my view we are tackling the problem the wrong way, until we stop the immigration and deal with the huge backlog we already have we are never going to resolve this problem and many many other villages just like Hedge End will suffer the same fate. I do not beleive t the people of hedge end want this.
