A new showroom has come to Hedge End – Swanmore-based home furnishing company Trident Blinds. 

Having moved into the premises at 1 Freegrounds Road in Hedge End (on the corner of St. John's Road and Freegrounds Avenue, and next to Richmonds Estate Agents), Managing Director Andrew Stagg says, ‘We have always wanted to have a showroom in Hedge End, but there never seemed to be a property for sale in the area. We have showrooms in the south from Bognor Regis down to Totton and wanted to fill in the gap.’

Trident Blinds is a family firm, started up by Andrew’s father, Norman, and with his brother Derek involved with the company, and even his mother at one time.

Now in its seventeenth year of operation the company has a £1.5m turnover and employs 34 people at its Swanmore factory and head office, including a team of experienced fitters .

The company says most of its customers live within ten miles of a showroom with, as well as the Bognor Regis and Totton premises, other branches in Fareham, Portsmouth, Waterlooville and Farnham.
