New Look for Hedgeendpeople
By Caroline_W | Friday, May 21, 2010, 09:40
From next Wednesday, 26 May, Hedgeendpeople will have a new look!
-
Lewespeople - the new-look Local People site
There will still be the stories, the business directory, the discussion groups, the chance to post photos, record details of events, to comment on articles and generally air your views on life in Hedge End.
None of the existing stories, discussions or photo galleries will disappear and there’ll be no need to register again if you’re already a member.
But with the new-look Hedgeendpeople you should find everything is faster – as well as registering, writing stories, posting comments and uploading photos even easier – and navigating the site simpler.
There will be more white space, a feeling of more room, and the homepage has been redesigned so that everything that happens on the site is listed in chronological order.
Hedgeendpeople is part of an ever-growing network of Local People sites, and as we were one of the first to launch last July we are one of the first to have the make-over.
However, there are some already with the new look and so if you’d like a preview check out East Sussex’s Lewespeople, or Surrey’s Godalmingpeople, or Helstonpeople in Cornwall.
We’d love to know what you think of the new look – so do post your comments!
And if you have any questions about the new Hedgeendpeople site, then do post those too and I’ll get back with answers as soon as I can.
