Hedge End’s News in the News This Week has been about one topic only – the snow!

On Wednesday 6 January there were the reports of drivers returning to cars abandoned the night before in the roads around Hedge End and at Junction 8 on the M27. See the Daily Echo’s story.

Also on Wednesday, the Daily Echo was describing Hedge End as having been ‘transformed into Narnia’.

For Hampshire the Daily Echo was giving warnings of this turning into the ‘worst winter on record’ on Friday 8 January, and forecasting more snow today (Sunday 10 January) – although as of yet (2.30pm) this hasn’t materialised.
