Work began this week, Monday 2nd November, on new building works at King’s Community Church, Hedge End, Southampton. Permission was granted in September 2008 for the 1,300 seat venue, near Junction 7 of the M27, along with new rooms for the growing work with young people and children. On Monday, ground was finally broken on the new access road on to the site.

Having just celebrated it’s 10th birthday in the current building, the church and its ever expanding congregation are looking forward to what the next ten years have in store.

Martyn Dunsford who leads the church says, “These are exciting times for us as a church, having grown from around 150 in Hedge End Village Hall to embarking on this new adventure within a decade. We are thrilled to see what God is doing in the communities all around this area.”
