The cats I'm referring to are catalytic converters, which are fitted into the exhaust system of your car. The Daily Echo reports that £35_000_car_parts_stolen, presumably for the precious metals contained inside these components.

I'm not sure if anybody in Hedge End has been affected to date, but please be alert to the problem. Cases have been reported in Bitterne, just a few miles up the road...
