I'd like to know why refuse collectors failed to empty my glass crate today, despite emptying all the others in my street. The crate was left at the top of my driveway, as usual, where it could be easily be seen and reached and there were only a few bottles and jars in it, so not overloaded. If they're not going to reliably collect the glass separately, perhaps I'll have to start putting my glass in the green "recyclables" bin instead. Recycling in Eastleigh is only going to work if the service is reliable...!

Well I can only think that if your crate only had a few bottles in it, they gave it a quick glance and thought it was empty or not worthy. I tend to only put mine out when it is full, I can however make some enquiries if you like?

Ho Ho Ho. Methinks the filter that looks for rude words in these postings is a bit too keen, giving anybody who doesn't already know otherwise a clue as to what is deemed rude and what isn't.

En***bent is a perfectly proper word isn't it...?
