Students from Sholing Technology College who have been helping Hedge End- based charity the Philippines Community Fund (PCF) out in Manila tell their story and share photos.
While out in Manila the students helped build an adventure playground for the school built by the PCF charity from redundant shipping containers, painted a 70 foot mural, built a house, and contributed to work on the programme to feed malnourished children.
See the BBC story, and also the Hedgeendpeople stories, ‘Hedge End and the Philippine Community Fund Connection’ posted in October and ‘Hedge End News in the News This Week (to 7 February)’ which reports on the students leaving for Manila.
