Interested to see a flyer pushed through my letterbox today, from the Hedge End Safer Neighbourhoods Team based at Hedge End nick. It seems a Vauxhall Tigra parked in my cul-de-sac had its windscreen, rear window and drivers door window smashed at 2:07 am on 12/9/2010. Didn't see or hear anything myself, I was in the land of nod at the time, but the flyer asks that if anybody has any information on this incident please contact the Safer Neighbourhoods team by dialling 101.

Besides this sort of incident being unusual round here, it's interesting to see the local Police trying to do something. All too often, all that happens in this sort of incident is that you are given a crime reference number to satisfy the insurance company...
