Hello Hedge End people , did you know there is a new support group in your area for people with all kinds of lung conditions ? we are the 'BREATHE EASY HEDGE END ' group, we meet each Friday at the Underhill centre , in St Johns Rd Hedge End, from 2.30. to 3.30 , when we have a group excersise programme, which is fit and fun, there is no competition! you decide which excersise you do and for how long, we are all members who have completed the pulmonary rehab course (which is funded by the NHS) but sadly funding only allows each patient 6 weeks. Because we all benefited greatly from this course we decided to set up on our own and continue as a group. We also have a speaker once a month on all manner of subjects for instance in August we have a talk by an astronomer which should be most interesting. We ask for a £2 donation to cover the cost of the hall and the light refreshments .
