Embankment repairs are set to close Upper Northam Road between Turnpike Way and the Junction 7 roundabout for four weeks, starting tomorrow (20th October). Expect longer queues in Charles Watts Way, as all traffic is forced to join the Motorway via that dual carriageway. Wildern lane and Turnpike Way will inevitably be busier too...
I suppose it would be too much to expect the Highways Agency to temporarily alter the signal phasing on that roundabout, to compensate for the different volume of traffic and patterns of traffic flow on the J7 roundabout...?
