The BBC Politics Show South today, Sunday 28 March, at 12 noon is looking at the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Lib Dem seats in the south – Eastleigh, Winchester and Romsey – and all high on the Conservatives’ target list.

The MPs in Eastleigh and Romsey constituencies have slender majorities. Lib Dem Chris Huhne in Eastleigh – and Hedge End’s MP – has a majority of 568. In Romsey the Lib Dem MP Sandra Gidley won by only 125 votes and although Winchester’s Lib Dem MP has a majority of more than 6,500, Mark Oaten is standing down at this election following the revelations about his private life.
