Police issue photos of jewellery and keepsakes found in Hedge End stream

Police have issued photos of personal property found in a bag retrieved from a stream in Shamblehurst Lane North, Hedge End, on August 30 in the hope the owner will come forward.

Inside the blue drawstring bag were various items including jewellery and small keepsakes.

Police believe the property may have been stolen during a burglary and are hoping that by releasing pictures of the items the owner can be traced.

PC Matt Paling from Hedge End police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the found property which includes a small dance medal with ‘Student 25/10/81 K Beggan’ engraved on the back.”
