Sixteen Apple Macintosh computers – worth over £12,000 – have been stolen from Hedge End’s Wildern School, Wildern Lane.
-
Wildern School, Hedge End
The theft took place during the night of Thursday 7-Friday 8 October, the offenders forcing entry into the school, and police are appealing for any information about the incident.
PC Jason Gore said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of Wildern School during the evening of October 7 or the early hours of October 8.
“It is likely that more than one person was involved in this crime and that a large vehicle was needed to transport the computers.
“This crime has affected the pupils at the school as two of their classrooms are now out of action while extensive repairs are carried out to the windows and the equipment is replaced.”
If you have any information about the incident you’re asked to contact PC Jason Gore at Eastleigh police station on 101, or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
And if you're a pupil at Wildern or the parent of a Wildern pupil whose work is being affected by the loss of the computers, let Hedgeendpeople know your thoughts on the theft.

I would really like to put together the pieces of my family jigsaw.so could you pass this on please.
I would have thought that to reach the position of Inspector you would need some cojones. My mobile is 0034667231222.
