I started taking my daughter to Maracajacks when she was about 6 months old, we went every week until she started pre-school and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter loved all the songs and playing with all the brightly coloured instruments and puppets and I loved being able to join in too and to see my daughter enjoying herself and growing in confidence. I would highly recommend Maracajacks to everyone who has young children.

I took my little girl to Maraca Jacks when she was 6 months old and from that day we were both hooked. My daughter loved all the songs and instruments and I loved seeing her enjoy it them The best thing was I got to join in with the songs and instruments too! Parental/carer involvement is encouraged and is so important in helping the children to grow in confidence and learn. As my daughter has grown up she has progressed to the Jumping Jacks group for older children and she has had just as much fun with that.
All in all, I can honestly say that Maraca Jacks provide great workshops which explore rhythm, music and movement in a fun and very friendly way. I highly recommend them and wish I could turn back time and do it all over again :-)
Maraca Jacks also provide a great party service. My daughter had one for her 4th birthday this year and it was brilliant. In fact I'm not sure who had most fun, the children or adults!!
Get in touch with them and start having as much fun as we have had :-)
I've not attended any of the sessions myself, but I know that my little neice loves Maraca Jacks. From my point of view, as an Uncle, it was great to see her on the Maracca Jacks floats in the last two carnivals, dressed-up, face-painted, mixing with other children, enjoying the occasion and feeling special because she was doing something special. She has even had her photo in the Echo a couple of times through her involvement with Maracca Jacks. I reckon that these things are quite important for a three year old, perhaps even more important when the three year old becomes a thirty year old looking back at her scrapbook and old photo albums. Maracca Jacks is great for young children, and the Mums seem to have fun too...!
