History coming to life in beautiful countryside

I think this is one of the countrys hidden gems. Not only is there the beautiful countryside but also the farm, a living history experience for children to enjoy. There are plenty of events hosted here, many of which are reported on this website, and it is always worth checking if anything is happening for a family afternoon out. Otherwise there are the walks which are thoroughly enjoyable in any season and vary from riverside to fields, whatever you feel like on the day. I would thoroughly recommend it.
