Boundary Changes - Hedge End Moves Out of Eastleigh

The Boundary Commission has today announced changes to almost all parliamentary constituencies in England. Subject to consultation (and heavy lobbying by the political parties, no doubt) the initial recommendations propose a new constituency to be called "Hedge End and Hamble" covering a swathe of Southampton, Eastleigh and Fareham from Thornhill to Warsash.

ReportHi Keith, The title of your article is a bit misleading, as it is only the parliamentary constituency that is being moved, nothing to do with local government. Hedge End will still be in Eastleigh Borough. Kind regards, David
